Freedom Debt Management
Freedom Debt Management
Freedom debt management is a service you might want to consider if you are dealing with seemingly insurmountable debt woes. Many nowadays find themselves having a difficult time making monthly payments on their debt especially if they simply cannot afford even the minimum required payments monthly.
Although some may think that employing a professional debt expert to help them out reduce these payments is deemed more of an additional expense than good, this is sometimes not the case. With the help of a professional freedom debt management agency, you may be granted a debt program wherein your monthly payments are more affordable and more importantly you may even be debt free sooner than you can imagine.
Usually, a freedom debt management is a non-profit organization that can help negotiate the terms of your debt with your creditors. This may be done through a debt consolidation program. As the term “consolidation” implies, all your outstanding debt balances will be combined into a single debt account. This would be very helpful in dealing with complicated debt problems especially for those who are looking for an unsecured consolidated loan.
A freedom debt management agency will be able to negotiate the terms of this consolidated loan in the most effective way. Not to mention, that with their help, the process of application will be considerably faster. Remember that the legitimate agencies such as these have dealt with various creditors in the past. They should know the ins and outs of the negotiation by heart and they are seasoned experts in their fields.
Along with the service of negotiating the terms of your debt with your creditors, the program usually comes with free debt management counseling. So once your debt consolidation loan has been approved, you will need a concrete plan as to how to start and follow through with the monthly payments of that particular loan. you will be given valuable advises on how to manage your finances so as to be able to cope up with your monthly dues and more so, they will advice you of means and ways on how to stay away from being more in debt in the future.
During your counseling session, try as much as possible to be open and honest with your debt counselor. You need to give them complete information about your income, your expenses, your budget, and your expectations of the program. Together, you will come up with a realistic plan that will be able to help you get out of debt in the soonest possible time. For you to achieve such a plan, you shouldn’t hold any information back about your financial situation and capabilities.
With a freedom debt management service, the first consultation is usually free. During this consultation, they will give you a general idea of how the program will benefit your situation. from this consultation, you will find out how much the service is going to cost you, the general plan of how to get you out of debt, the duration of the debt period, and how the plan will work to get you out of debt. Before you sign any agreement with a freedom debt management service, check if they have a realistic and feasible plan drafted out for you. Beware of fraudulent companies that offer these kinds of services. Make a shortlist of the different agencies you are considering to employ and check each one out with the Better Business Bureau and their past clienteles testimonials.
When your debt consolidation is underway under their service, you would no longer have to deal with numerous creditors. You will then have just a single payment to make. You will be paying them and they in turn will disperse this payment to your other creditors. It is advisable that occasionally you check with your previous creditors if your payments are truly being forwarded to them.
Signing an agreement and acquiring a plan from a freedom debt management will only mean that you are finally in the road to being debt free. However, to get to the end of the road, determination, focus and commitment is required in your part. You have to have confidence in the program and do everything in your power to stick to their proposal. You only have a single payment to make in a month; there is hardly an excuse for you to come up with to default on that payment.

Debt Management Program – What is Best for You
A Debt Management Program is a solution to overwhelming debt problems using a series of methods that have been proven to work in the past. You can do this yourself or employ the services of a professional debt agency to speed up the process.
Thousands of individuals nowadays are burdened with debt that seems to be insurmountable. The interest on debt alone keeps mounting up maybe because one cannot afford to pay the total balance in full or they end up defaulting on their monthly payments. Atop all that, is the build up of everyday expenses, which gets more difficult by the day to cope up with. With all these expenses to deal with, it sometimes feels hopeless to get rid of debt all together. Take heart, there is hope. There is a solution to debt problems available to anyone who seeks for it. One of these is a debt management program.
A debt management program can be defined as better management of your finances, employing the services of a debt agency that can create a plan for you to get out of debt fast, or negotiating with your creditors to reduce your payments or even eliminate late payment charges.
With a debt management program, you get to ease the burden brought about by carrying a heavy load of debt and at the same time, you are given the opportunity to live life as normally as possible.
So what is the best debt management program for you? Here are your options:
1. It is possible for you to create your own debt management program depending on how much you actually owe. Admitting that you have a problem and that it is up to you take control of the situation is in itself the first step of the process. Your next step is to get in touch with your creditors and negotiate for better terms. Whether it be to lower your interest rates or eliminate late payment charges, asking for anything that will make payments more affordable is well worth your while. It is not that difficult to negotiate with creditors at this time. So many borrowers are defaulting on their payments. They would willingly work with you to make it easier for you to pay rather than getting nothing back at all.
2. With so many people burdened with debt nowadays, there also has been rampant growth in the debt counseling industry. Find a debt counselor with a reputable track record. He/she will be able to give you valuable advises on how to manage your debt more efficiently. At the same time, they will guide you on how to budget properly and how to get your finances intact. More so, they can provide a debt consolidation loan where you get to combine all your existing loans into one account leaving you with a considerably lower single monthly payment to deal with.
It is advisable that you look for debt counselors who are accredited by the National Foundation for Credit Counseling (NFCC). There are available services of this sort that are non-profit organizations. As the term “non-profit” implies, unlike other disreputable debt agencies, they offer services with their clients’ best interest at hearts and they do not to take advantage of people who already are experiencing financial crisis.
If you decide on employing the services of a professional debt counselor, you have to disclose every aspect of your finances and debt situation. The worst thing you can do is to hide some factors of your debt problem due to embarrassment. Tell them exactly how much you owe and how much you make in a month for them to create a program that you can effectively work with. The moment you acknowledge that you are deep in debt problems and you are more than determined to get out of it, your debt management program is well on its way to getting you out of debt soon.
Before deciding to sign up with any debt agency, check on how much you will be required to pay for their service. Generally, debt management agencies charge an average of $50 or less a month. If the debt agency you are considering charges more than that, walk away and shop around some more.
Together, you and your counselor with create a realistic and viable plan to get you out of debt in the earliest possible time. You have to make certain that this plan is manageable that you are left with enough cash for your daily living expenses. It is pointless to come up with an amount that you cannot afford in the short-term wherein you have to depend on using credit cards for daily expenses. This would just get you deeper into debt.
Make sure that you fully understand every aspect of the program. Whatever questions you may have, don’t hesitate to ask. Debt agencies are supposed to be out there to help their clients get out of debt. They should be more than willing to accommodate any inquiries regarding the debt management program during the entire duration of the process.
A debt management program has helped thousands of individuals and families in the US get back on their feet financially. If you are experiencing sleepless nights and unnecessary stress because of debt, there is no better time to act on it than right now. Do not try to pretend that the problem does not exist. True, it is not easy to solve it overnight, but with a debt management program, whether you do it yourself or seek for professional help, being debt free would no longer be a distant dream.

I do not owe back child support. I have been married to the same man, the father of my children for 17 years.
Checked with my bank and they do show my exact refund as a pending deposit for 2/6. So all is well.

Are you aware of what you are seeing here? SEE the EXAMPLES?
What you are seeing occur is the part of trickle down economics that no one told you about . It’s called trickle down debt and it comes right out of the Republican play book. The one that allows unbridled greed to be the rule of the day. everyone talks about the free market, Palin is railing about taxes right now, but where the Democrates pump money into government to pay for oversight and regulation, the Republicans have always cut department budgets to stop oversight… You have to pay as you go and pay for what you use.
Example: There are 8 inspectors in the California that are responsible for the quality of 30 percent of the meat for the entire nation. 8 inspectors for an industry that runs 24 hours state wide that is produced… It is typically impossible… How about 70 percent of the maintenance is now done over seas on Airliners owned by us, but oversight in China and other country’s is almost non existent. AND the allowance of banks to get into risky transactions was a pet project of the Republican congress in 1999 with the Modernization act which created most of the turmoil that you the taxpayer are now paying for. Not that you here nothing about penalizing or even putting management in jail for what has happened nor do you see any restrictions on golden parachutes or severance and stock options. There is a reason lead paint on toys and Salmonella show up in stores… no over site. When rich people start talking to you about the size of government and they want tax cuts, you know that the poor and the middle class are going to take it in the shorts. They will tell you is is all about hot button issues like abortion, gay marriage and guns or wave the flag and yell freedom, but it is really about the bottom line. ENOUGH!!! Wake up America.

I received Tax Top 203 on "Where's my Refund" Anyone else receive this message? Is it a generic message?
I am expecting my tax return any day now- I check "Where’s my Refund" from time to time for the status- I filed with Turbo Tax on January 17 and the IRS accepted my refund on the 18th- At first it was to be mailed out on January 30th- Then it was pushed to February 6th- This morning when I checked, "Where’s my Refund" I received this message:
Please read the following information related to your tax situation:

I called the phone number provided (FMS can be reached at 800-304-3107) It was automated and asked me for my SS#- The automation said I had no offsets???
I am baffled- I don’t remember ever seeing this message before and I;m worried since my original date of mail out was January 30th and it was pushed to February 6th-
I don’t have children and I don’t owe any money that I know of- Wouldn’t FMS tell me if it was offset? I want to speak with a real person-
Is this a generic message that everyone receives? What scares me is that it says "Please read the following information related to your tax situation" –
I’m curious if anyone else has received this message???
Thanks

Is Texas Guaranteed Student Loan Corp. (TG) considered a federal agency?
I defaulted on a student loan but I’ve been in a repayment program for the last four months. The representatives at TG tell me that I am no longer in default because I signed up with TG’s repayment program and also because I’m making timely payments and I that I will continue to stay out of default if I keep making the scheduled payments. I also asked the TG representatives if TG would take my income tax refund (all the money from my refund) I was told no that they would not take any of my return. My questions, is TG considered a federal agency and do you think TG will garnish my tax refund? The reason I am asking is because I filed my income tax return and I am waiting for the check in the mail. I’ve been checking on the IRS website to check the status of my return. The "where’s my refund" site has explained to me for the past two and a half weeks that my return will be mailed Feburary 26 (yesterday). So I have been checking the site everyday and just now the "where’s my refund" site posted this on my "refund status results" page…

I don’t have any children (I’m a woman) and I live in Texas so that equals no state taxes.
I called the number and was told that I had no debts owed. So I guess that’s good news.
